About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Oracle Fusion Financials Consultant with a CPA requirement to lead end-to-end implementations, upgrades, and optimization projects across Oracle Fusion Financial Cloud modules. This role involves serving as the primary liaison between IT teams and client finance executives, translating complex accounting principles into scalable Oracle system configurations. The consultant will lead business process design, fit-gap analysis, and requirement-gathering workshops, configuring key modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), Expenses, and Subledger Accounting (SLA). Responsibilities also include designing Chart of Accounts (COA) structures, managing testing phases (CRP, UAT), overseeing cutover activities and hypercare, building functional specifications for extensions and reports, and managing financial data migration. A strong foundation in corporate accounting, financial consolidation, intercompany processing, and closing procedures is essential.

Requirements

• Active CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license or equivalent (e.g., ACCA, CA) required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management Information Systems (MIS).
• 8+ years of Oracle Financials experience.
• Minimum of 3–5 years leading Oracle Fusion / ERP Cloud implementations.
• Deep knowledge of GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, SLA, and Financial Reporting Web Studio (FRWS) / OTBI.
• Strong foundation in corporate accounting, financial consolidation, intercompany processing, and month-end/year-end closing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementations, upgrades, and optimization projects across Oracle Fusion Financial Cloud modules.
• Serve as the primary liaison between IT teams and client finance executives (CFOs, Controllers, Accounting Managers).
• Translate complex US GAAP / IFRS accounting principles into scalable Oracle system configurations (e.g., revenue recognition, lease accounting rules, intercompany eliminations).
• Lead business process design, fit-gap analysis, and requirement-gathering workshops.
• Configure modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), Expenses, and Subledger Accounting (SLA).
• Design Chart of Accounts (COA) structures, multi-org/multi-currency setups, and secondary ledgers.
• Manage Conference Room Pilots (CRP), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover activities, and post-go-live hypercare.
• Build functional specs for custom extensions, BI Publisher reports, OTBI dashboards, and integrations.
• Oversee financial data migration strategy and ensure complete reconciliation between legacy systems and Fusion Financials.
