About The Position

Bunge is looking for a Lead Operator for our Bellevue, OH location. This position is responsible for leading a team of operators in a safe manner and providing guidance and a good example for all employees.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Ability to work safely and follow all safety rules and policies
Leadership skills
Computer skills: including Microsoft Office & SAP
Good verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

Experience in good manufacturing practices

Responsibilities

Work in a safe manner, follow all safety rules and procedures, and provide safety guidance and a good safety example to all employees
Provide safety training or toolbox talks, as needed
Follow a production and loading schedule
Ability to operate and knowledge of all departmental jobs and processes
Perform assigned sanitation to keep the building clean
Cover for other employees on crew who are absent or on vacation
Fill in as the crew supervisor as needed and give direction to employees
Write and e-mail daily shift notes to department personnel and managers
Assist with JHA’s, work permits, standard work procedures and other paperwork needed in the departments
Other duties as assigned
