About The Position

This position is responsible for performing all functions of all Operator levels, coordinating tech services, forms specifications changes and qualifications, and ensuring efficient shift hand-off and communication. The Lead Operator will process required transactions in the MRP system, serve as an Operator representative for special Quality and Engineering projects, and ensure efficient scheduling to meet production requirements. Additionally, this role involves providing training and mentorship to Operators, promoting and supporting 5S standards, and serving as a resource to Operators while modeling company values and supporting strategic initiatives. This position is also required to assure compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations, standards, good business practices, and documented procedures, including environmental and occupational health regulations. The Lead Operator will engage others and participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives with a focus on continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Microsoft (Outlook, Excel, Word) and computer experience required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior critical thinking skills; able to investigate and analyze data to resolve problems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Quality systems as related to medical device manufacturing.
  • Ability to learn new technologies.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement processes.

Responsibilities
