As part of the Blending team in Wausau, you will work hands‑on with equipment and processes that ensure products are produced safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The team works closely together on the production floor, supporting one another through daily operations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement to keep our manufacturing running smoothly. The Role & Your Impact As Lead Operator – Blending (2nd Shift), you will take an active role in operating and maintaining blending equipment while supporting and guiding team members during daily production. This is a hands‑on, operational role where quality, safety, and teamwork are essential.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience operating and troubleshooting mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation/Production Practices (GDP).
  • Lock Out Tag Out experience or willingness to follow LOTO procedures.
  • Ability to read and write English.
  • Ability to reprioritize tasks throughout the shift to meet production demands.

  • Experience coaching or supporting peers on the production floor.
  • Comfort speaking up about safety, quality, or process improvements.
  • Interest in continuous improvement and contributing ideas to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operating blending equipment and performing basic troubleshooting to maintain production flow.
  • Supporting and guiding team members by clarifying expectations and daily routines on the production floor.
  • Disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling machines according to established procedures.
  • Accurately completing and reviewing all required production documentation.
  • Ensuring products meet quality standards by following batch recipes, formulations, and GMP requirements.
