Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing preferred.
  • Previous experience in a packaging or blending environment preferred.
  • Have the ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs

Responsibilities

  • Performs weighing and labeling of ingredients for the blending area with computerized inventory systems (WINS, SAP).
  • Accurately maintains computerized documents.
  • Assures proper quantity of pre-weighed materials are available and used.
  • Add ingredients to blender manually and automatically.
  • Makes sanitary connections for CIP, COP, and other forms of cleaning.
  • Unload, inspect and hook-up Super Sacks of dry blended materials.
  • Complete all necessary transactions, reports, and documentation.
  • Perform assigned preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Disassemble and assemble machinery for product changeovers.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
  • Must be able to use independent judgement and work well with a team.
