About The Position

Provides complex clerical and administrative support to departmental Managers and Market Area initiatives. Expected to perform at a higher level of responsibility and with very minimal supervision. Duties and tasks are varied and may be intricate. Resolves most questions and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels.

Requirements

High School Diploma G.E.D., or High School Equivalency
4 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement)

Responsibilities

Supports Market Area wide initiatives such as management of truck titles, etc.
Compass Super User and subject matter expert assisting Operations Specialists in troubleshooting issues across the Market Area.
Provides coaching and training support to other less experienced Operations Specialist throughout the MA
Assists with data collection and reporting required for fleet programs and as directed by the department manager.
Uses software tools to manage a variety of tasks, such as purchasing, third party repairs, slow moving inventory, and warranty recovery.
May assist with management of the office location and building maintenance issues as they arise.
Creates, submits, and receives part & supply orders on a daily basis. (May involve forklift operation.)
Enter and maintain COMPASS data on a daily basis.
Maintains our purchase order system.
Maintains and distributes department related information on a daily basis.
Communicates with other supervisors and managers about fleet and/or operational issues.
Assists in the implementation of operational projects as needed.
Communicates with vendors about service or product issues as needed.
Communicates with managers and / or employees about scheduling and work assignments as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
