About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Operations Processor within the Commercial Banking Operations group as part of Wholesale Operations. In this role, you will support management in the day-to-day supervision of less experienced team members, providing guidance and resolution to issues, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the team. You will also provide feedback and present ideas for improving or implementing processes and tools within the Operations group. You will perform or guide others on complex escalated issues that require planning, evaluation, and interpretation. You will prioritize work and provide daily work leadership and mentorship to the team, as well as provide training and technical guidance to less experienced staff. Additionally, you will lead or contribute to the implementation of new or revised processes and procedures that require coordination among operation teams. You will collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals, interact with internal customers, and receive direction from leaders. You will exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements, and serve as a resource to other departments on transaction structure, documentation, and company policies.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Operations support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Nice To Haves

  • Experience reviewing banking transactions
  • Knowledge in Financial services, fraud, investigations, Bank Secrecy Act, anti-money laundering
  • Experience with research system tools such as Infolease, ISM, ect.
  • Ability to analyze and summarize large amounts of data
  • Ability to train and lead others
  • Knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance requirements surrounding USA PATRIOT Act and Anti Money Laundering (AML) requirements
  • General knowledge of entity formation verification documents
  • Proven ability to display a willingness to learn new policies, procedures, and processes
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Good analytical skills including analyzing complex data
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access) skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
  • Capability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
  • Aptitude to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Competency to handle confidential material in a professional manner
  • Potential to achieve high production and quality standards
