About The Position

The Lead Office Administrator will be responsible for but not limited to coordinating daily administrative and operational support across warehouse, inventory, and site leadership teams. The role is expected to maintain accurate reporting, process invoices and purchase orders, and ensures smooth communication through metric boards and visitor assistance. The position will support audits, employee events, and cross-functional tasks while managing office supplies and mail duties. The role will also work with site leadership in KPI reporting to aid continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required, associates degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years prior related experience and/or training in a distribution environment
  • Strong technical skills utilizing MS Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, & Word.
  • Experience using warehouse, transportation, and inventory management systems preferred.
  • Ability to motivate, train, leads, and evaluates the performance of RDC warehouse associates.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of staff and external customers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Must have strong customer service skills and the ability to interact with customers frequently.
  • Ability to act as a change agent and drive continual improvement.
  • Ability to manage, coordinate, and prioritize multiple tasks without direct supervision.
  • Ability to communicate with tact, diplomacy, and authority, when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Receive work assignments from management and disseminate tasks to warehouse and administrative staff.
  • Collaborate with and administratively support the inventory, operations and continuous improvement departments as needed.
  • Create and update daily reports for site leadership.
  • Update various metric and communication boards.
  • Perform data entry into various programs for order processing.
  • Cross train in other roles for back-up assistance when needed.
  • Greet and assist site visitors, vendors, and guests.
  • Track and order office supplies.
  • Sort mail/packages and deliver accordingly and prepare outgoing mail/packages.
  • Prepare and generate customer invoices.
  • Process all vendor invoices and prepare for payment.
  • Generate financial and production reports as needed.
  • Assist, prepare and participate in overall program audits and/or site communication tasks.
  • Generate and track purchase orders for the facility and complete reports.
  • Ensure all Certificates of Insurance for current and prospective vendors meet Kenco standards and are current.
  • Plan employee events and coordinate meetings as requested by management.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
