About The Position
The Lead Nutrition Services position reflects Northwestern Medicine’s mission, vision, and values; adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program; and complies with relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulatory and accreditation standards. The role directs and coordinates kitchen and cafe workers and food preparation, cooking, and service for hospital patients, personnel, and visitors during the designated shift. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Obtain Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) certification within 180 days of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Two to three years of experience in the hospital and/or food service industry.
- Previous supervisory experience.
Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate activities of kitchen and cafe workers.
- Coordinate the preparation, cooking, and serving of food for hospital patients, personnel, and visitors during the designated shift.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
