About The Position

Hawaiian Building Maintenance (HBM) has been providing quality service since 1957 and is one of the largest facility service providers in the State of Hawaii. We currently perform janitorial building services, mechanical engineering, HVAC and maintenance services for numerous commercial, retail and residential properties on Oahu, Kauai, Maui and the Big Island. This is a part-time position for a Lead Night Porter in Custodial services located in Honolulu, HI.

Requirements

Candidates should be capable of standing, walking, bending, reaching (including overhead), grasping objects, kneeling, crawling, squatting, climbing, stooping, stretching, pressing, pushing, pulling, carrying, and lifting a minimum of 20 lbs or more.
Must pass HBM prescreen check
Previous supervisory experience or related experience required.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Valid Hawaii driver's license preferred

Responsibilities

Cleaning and maintaining the location space, which involves: Sweeping, dusting, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing common areas.
Guide a team in cleaning designated areas of the building.
Ensure that doors are secured properly.
Oversee that the property is cleaned according to assigned tasks.
Monitor and maintain a fast and efficient workflow.
Cleaning restrooms tenant spaces, elevator, and stairwells.
Removing trash and replacing liners, disposing of waste in designated areas.
Restock supplies.
Ensure that employee time cards are reviewed and submitted to payroll promptly.
Performing other tasks as directed by the HBM supervisor.
