Lead Network Systems Engineer

Parsons•Huntsville, AL

About The Position

The Lead Network Systems Engineer provides technical integration, interface management, and execution support for a large command-and-control facility project at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. The role supports C4IT integration for the design, construction, commissioning, accreditation, and turnover of a highly secure, mission-critical headquarters and command-and-control facility. It coordinates facility-to-payload interfaces across telecommunications, networks, mission systems, audiovisual systems, data-center infrastructure, power, cooling, security boundaries, pathways, rooms, and operational technology. The engineer serves as a primary C4IT technical interface among the Program Management Office, Owner’s Advisor, Progressive Design-Build contractor, facility designers, security stakeholders, commissioning personnel, and operations representatives. The role translates mission and technology requirements into facility interfaces, tracks dependencies through design and construction, identifies scope and schedule impacts, and supports resolution of technical issues. It supports a separate data center and Central Utility Plant, a four-story command-and-control facility, and a Joint Operations Center with secure, resilient, mission-critical infrastructure. The position supports the project through design development, construction, systems integration, commissioning oversight, security accreditation support, facility turnover, and closeout. It is part of Parsons’ Federal Solutions team, which delivers services and solutions to U.S. government customers in defense, security, intelligence, infrastructure, and environmental work.
