About The Position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Lead Network Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to be a hands on expert working with out existing engineering and networking teams, assisting with network creation, monitoring, data transfer and troubleshooting. This position is part of our Federal Solutions team. The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe. Requirements

Must have an active TS/SCI w/ Poly
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 12 years of network engineering experience
Expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs
Experience with network automation and scripting
Strong leadership and communication skills
Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 requirements (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, or equivalent)

Nice To Haves

Advanced certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable

Responsibilities

Architect and deploy enterprise network solutions
Lead network upgrades, migrations, and security initiatives
Monitor and optimize network performance
Develop and enforce network policies and procedures
Mentor junior network engineers
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network systems
Troubleshoot and resolve advanced network issues
Maintain comprehensive network documentation
