About The Position

Responsible for the design and support of Network infrastructure consisting of but not limited to LAN/WAN, HW & SW, routers, switches, management systems, monitoring systems, telecommunications equipment, voicemail systems, call center management systems and various other network and voice related infrastructure technologies. Function as a project leader on various initiatives while training and instructing team members. Provide diagnoses, resolutions, and documentation to support, implement and manage an enterprise network environment. Implement, monitor and manage secure solutions that address contemporary issues. Requirements

Minimum - 4 Year Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, MIS or Related
Minimum - 7 Years Networking Engineering, Technology Design, Technology Implementation and Delivery or Related
10 years experience in Networking Engineering or Related (In Lieu of Education)

Responsibilities

Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, datacenter, and cloud connectivity. Support routers, switches, wireless, VPNs, internet circuits, BGP/OSPF, DNS/DHCP/IPAM, and network segmentation
Support enterprise telephony, Microsoft Teams Phone/VoIP, CCaas, CCaas IVR, SIP trunks, SIP/SBC management, toll-free/RespOrg ownership, DIDs and toll-free numbers, number porting/RespOrg activities, call routing, E911, E-Faxing solution
Implement secure network configurations, firewall connectivity, segmentation, NAC/802.1X, VPNs, secure remote access, and Zero Trust controls in partnership with cybersecurity teams
Engineer connectivity between on-premises environments, data centers, Azure/AWS, SaaS platforms, and third-party providers using technologies such as ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, VPN, private connectivity, and cloud networking
Monitor network availability, latency, packet loss, bandwidth, QoS, voice quality, and capacity. Identify performance issues and proactively remediate infrastructure risks
Troubleshoot network and telecom incidents, participate in P1/P2 response, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Coordinate with ISPs, telecom carriers, cloud providers, equipment manufacturers, and managed-service providers. Manage circuit installations, upgrades, outages, escalations, and service-performance issues
Plan and execute network changes, hardware/software upgrades, migrations, firmware updates, technology refreshes, and equipment replacements while minimizing business disruption
Maintain network monitoring, alerting, logging, configuration backup, and observability platforms. Develop automation using tools such as Python, Ansible, APIs, or infrastructure-as-code where appropriate
Maintain network diagrams, IP addressing, circuit inventories, telecom inventories, configuration standards, operating procedures, DR documentation, and architecture documentation. Participate in change management and architecture/security reviews
Maintain redundant network and telecom services, validate failover capabilities, participate in DR exercises, and ensure critical voice/data services can operate during infrastructure failures
Support regulatory, audit, vulnerability, and risk-management requirements. Ensure network and telecom environments comply with organizational security standards and applicable financial services requirements
Participate in data-center migrations, cloud adoption, office/branch deployments, contact-center initiatives, network modernization, Zero Trust programs, firewall/proxy migrations, and other infrastructure projects
Participate in on-call rotations, maintenance windows, incident bridges, vendor escalations, capacity planning, and Day 2 operational support
