The Lead NDT Quality Specialist is primarily responsible for conducting NDT and Welding Inspections and training according to specific codes and procedures to ensure quality, in existing and fabricated components. This individual will also establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection. Additionally, this individual will have the skills and knowledge to plan, organize and present classroom. Lead position – Generally has more than 15 years of experience and/or demonstrated job relevant knowledge/skills. A Lead specialist has a broad knowledge of the field’s standard and technical concepts, practices and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of standard complex, and technical tasks; is self-starting and requires no supervision. The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices on a daily basis: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development.
