About The Position

As a Lead Merchandiser, you’ll keep Viking Coca-Cola looking sharp and running smooth across our customer locations—protecting freshness, driving standards, and keeping accounts ready for what’s next. You’ll lead by example on the floor, support sales initiatives, and keep communication flowing between store teams, sales reps, and drivers. You’ll start by mapping your stops, syncing up with store leaders, and moving with purpose through aisles and backrooms. The day stays energized: quick handheld entries, sharp checks on freshness, and steady touchpoints with sales reps and drivers to keep every account on track. Between building eye-catching promotions and jumping in to support coverage needs, you’ll stay hands-on—coaching teammates in the moment and keeping things spotless, safe, and customer-ready.

Requirements

• Strong customer service and clear communication
• Merchandising/display building
• Inventory accuracy and attention to detail
• Comfortable with handheld devices and independent decision-making
• Ability to operate a manual pallet jack
• Ability to lift/move up to 2,200 lbs
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance

Responsibilities

• Merchandising to standards
• Rotating product
• Managing inventory and handheld order entry
• Building displays/promotions
• Maintaining cleanliness at customer sites
• Completing required paperwork
• Stepping in for delivery support or driver shortages when needed
• Train and coach FT/PT Merchandisers
• Provide vacation coverage for Sales Bulk Reps
• Mapping your stops
• Syncing up with store leaders
• Making quick handheld entries
• Checking on freshness
• Maintaining touchpoints with sales reps and drivers
• Building eye-catching promotions
• Supporting coverage needs
• Coaching teammates
