About The Position

Become a part of our caring community As a Lead Medical Assistant, you will report to the Center Administrator. You will work in an onsite clinic at our Victory Heights Clinic located in Savannah, Georgia. As a Lead Medical Assistant, you will: Discuss symptoms, obtain vital signs, medication/vaccine administration, phlebotomy, collect specimens, perform diagnostic screening tests, sterilize/clean equipment, maintain examination rooms, and document information into the electronic medical records system. Collaborate closely with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers. Use your skills to make an impact

Requirements

• Certified or Registered and completion of a Medical Assistant program or Certified or Registered with at least 5 years of experience (would need provider approval)
• Phlebotomy Experience
• Medication/vaccine administration experience
• 3+ years MA Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR Certified
• This role is considered patient facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years MA experience in PCO center
• Value Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish - must pass proficiency exam prior to foreign language communication
