About The Position
Ensures the company's facility needs are met by providing services and maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operations of all equipment utilized for maintenance activities, determining the actual needs for material and equipment, and maintaining and improving current facilities cost effectively. Responsible for the inspection, maintenance and repair of power mechanical equipment and company vehicles.
Requirements
- Forklift operating experience
Nice To Haves
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- HDPE butt fusion equipment operating or maintenance and repair experience - McElroy, RITMO, and Technodue
- 1 year of experience in hydraulics
- 1 year of electrical experience
- 1 year of schematic reading experience or 1 year of experience of diesel engine repair experience
- Strong computer skills
Responsibilities
- Prepares accurate records on maintenance, repairs and fuel levels of equipment.
- Maintains all decals, safety warnings and company ID stickers.
- Completes work orders for internal and external repairs.
- Lead, Teach, and Work with a team of mechanics to ensure all rental equipment is properly maintained as well as fabrication equipment
- Repairs power and mechanical equipment, including a variety of butt fusion machines.
- Under takes complex repair and maintenance projects.
- Reports safety violations to supervisor.
- Maintain shop cleanliness.
- Participate in team meetings
- Communicate and record any repairs and maintenance needed for equipment with mechanic team as well as with supervision
- Keep all rental files as well as repair orders filed correctly and accurately
