Requirements

  • Typically requires 5+ year(s) of related experience.
  • 5 years of experience in a warehouse or DC is preferred; Internal employees must have a minimum of 6 months or service to qualify to apply
  • Proficiency in operating material handling equipment (e.g., Reach Truck, Tugger, Pallet jack) with current certification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and safety procedures.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse management systems such as Acumax (preferred)
  • Must be a positive change team member that demonstrates passion and commitment to the success of the team and individuals
  • Must have a positive attitude, be quality driven, organized, punctual, committed, self-motivated and have an excellent attendance record
  • Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality; self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision; strong adherence to established procedures and safety protocols; comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Must be comfortable working at heights
  • Must be comfortable working in refrigerated areas when required
  • Ability to walk up to 10 miles throughout the course of a shift (steps vary per shift)
  • Ability to lift 20-50 pounds repetitively throughout the course of a shift without assistance; ability to lift greater weights in a team lift (weight varies based on product)
  • May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day.
  • May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day.
  • May be necessary to work extended hours as needed.
  • Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required.
  • Visual acuity to see and read fine prints.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to hear normal voice sounds

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred
  • Location is willing to train those with no experience, but, must be able to maintain certifications

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of a team of material handlers, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing guidance and training.
  • Oversee the receiving, unloading, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of medical products.
  • Ensure accurate inventory control through proper scanning, documentation, and cycle counting procedures.
  • Operate various material handling equipment safely and efficiently, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to material flow, inventory discrepancies, and equipment malfunctions.
  • Communicate effectively with management, team members, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist with performance reviews and disciplinary actions for team members as needed.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse processes.
