About The Position

Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa is seeking an exceptional Lead Massage Therapist who is passionate about elevating the profession, mentoring fellow therapists, and creating an outstanding experience for both clients and team members. This role offers the opportunity to continue practicing massage therapy while helping shape the success of an entire massage team. The Lead Massage Therapist will serve as a clinical resource, coach, and culture leader, assisting in therapist development, supporting continuing education, maintaining high treatment standards, and partnering with spa leadership to create an exceptional workplace.

Requirements

• Active Texas Massage Therapist License in good standing.
• Strong clinical massage skills with a client-first approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for developing others and raising the standard of massage therapy.

Nice To Haves

• Previous leadership, mentoring, training, or coaching experience is preferred.
• Experience with Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular, Myofascial, Trigger Point, Prenatal, Sports Massage, or other advanced modalities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of licensed massage therapists.
• Support onboarding, training, and ongoing skill development.
• Demonstrate excellence through your own therapeutic sessions.
• Promote best practices in treatment quality, professionalism, and guest experience.
• Assist with introducing new modalities, techniques, and product knowledge.
• Partner with spa leadership to strengthen therapist performance, engagement, and retention.
• Foster a collaborative, positive, and supportive team culture.
• Help maintain treatment room standards and operational excellence.
