About The Position

This is an opportunity to be part of an innovative and passionate hotel team. The role involves ensuring the professional delivery of spa services, managing departmental goals, training and motivating colleagues, and serving as a liaison between the hotel and the spa industry. The position requires maximizing schedules and resources to optimize revenue, maintaining adequate inventories, and ensuring all staff are knowledgeable in health and safety protocols. Additionally, the role involves tracking provider licenses, administering staff training, and ensuring effective communication across hotel departments.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a spa or related field an asset.
• Experience in the hospitality industry an asset.
• License Massage Therapist required
• Desire to provide phenomenal Guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
• Ensure the execution of all departmental goals.
• Train and motivate all colleagues.
• Serve as a link between the hotel and the spa industry.
• Provide and take responsibility for the professional delivery of all information to guests (issue resolution)
• Maximizing schedules / resources thereby maximizing revenue.
• All colleagues versed in health and safety
• Maintain adequate inventories
• Dispenses product as needed
• Maintain thorough knowledge of competitors, including location, product offering, pricing, and promotions and sales techniques.
• Tracks all provider licenses re: expiration dates.
• Administration and implementation of staff training in all aspects of the spa’s operations (business telephone usage, guest relations, retail sales, spa services & treatments).
• Ensure effective communication amongst all departments within the hotel.
• Other duties as assigned
