About The Position

Pindrop is seeking a Lead Marketing Web Engineer/Developer to rebuild its website for the AI era. This role is a senior individual contributor position with significant impact, responsible for setting the technical foundation, shaping strategy, and executing the development of the website. The ideal candidate is a developer at heart with a strategic mindset, comfortable with coding, diagnosing web performance, and understanding marketing pipeline impact. They will treat AI as infrastructure, driving innovation and efficiency in website development and functionality. The role reports to the VP of Brand & Community and collaborates closely with Demand Gen, Marketing Ops, and Design teams, owning the digital experience as a performance-driven system.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience owning web performance end-to-end, with a proven track record in both development execution and data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience with B2B SaaS or enterprise websites, understanding how websites drive pipeline.
  • Daily, fluent use of AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) with demonstrable examples of built, automated, or accelerated work.
  • Deep hands-on experience with WordPress and experience with Webflow.
  • Strong front-end skills including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to build from design files and debug independently.
  • Proven success in improving Core Web Vitals and technical SEO/AEO.
  • Hands-on experience with GA4 and GTM, including implementation, QA, and attribution.
  • Working knowledge of website integrations with analytics, CRM, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Ownership mentality: taking responsibility for outcomes like site speed and conversion rates.
  • Data-driven and decisive approach to analyzing funnels and determining next steps.
  • High quality assurance standards for performance, tracking, and design before go-live.
  • Effective communication skills, providing clear recommendations to leadership.
  • A builder's mindset with strong judgment, challenging assumptions and contributing a point of view.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in cybersecurity, fraud, contact center, or AI/ML products.
  • Experience shipping AI-powered web features such as personalization, RAG-backed content, chat interfaces, or agentic experiences.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, Marketo, or Pardot.
  • Experience with Headless CMS or modern frameworks like React or Next.js.
  • Experience with A/B testing tools like Optimizely or VWO.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Pindrop.com website, including its architecture, performance, uptime, and all page development from design to live deployment.
  • Maintain low technical debt and uphold high standards for Core Web Vitals, with a mobile-first approach and automated testing.
  • Build an AI-native experience, catering to both human visitors and AI agents, incorporating LLM-ready structure, schema, and content with personalization and dynamic capabilities.
  • Develop and prototype agentic and RAG-backed experiences, measuring their effectiveness against pipeline goals.
  • Drive on-site conversion across demo, content, and product journeys, partnering with Demand Gen on landing pages, running experiments with clear hypotheses, and scaling successful strategies.
  • Utilize AI for generating variants and identifying patterns in conversion rate optimization.
  • Ensure all pages are instrumented from day one for tracking UTM parameters, forms, and clean CRM handoffs.
  • Own web data quality across GA4, GTM, and BI tools, building actionable dashboards and proactively identifying underperformance with recommendations.
