About The Position
The Lead Marine Gas Turbine Inspector (MGTI) serves as the senior technical authority for gas turbine propulsion inspections supporting Navy surface ship readiness assessments. This role involves leading inspections, assessing material condition, recommending corrective actions, mentoring inspectors, and preparing readiness reports. The position is primarily based in San Diego, CA, with occasional travel to various Navy fleet concentration areas globally.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years supervisory experience.
- Minimum two tours as a Navy Marine Gas Turbine Inspector.
- Extensive EOOW experience aboard gas turbine ships.
- Extensive Navy technical management experience.
- Direct operational and maintenance experience within the past five years.
- Experience equivalent to Navy MGTI certification.
- SECRET clearance, verifiable in DISS.

- 25+ years highly desirable.
