About The Position

The Lead Manufacturing Engineering Specialist will work in a production shop environment and serve as a manufacturing engineer, learning the processes, hardware, specs, and quality requirements. You will have hardware ownership as ME with midframe and/or component hardware of a midframe. Green Cell is also a Model line and will be undergoing a transformation during 2026-2027 which will expose them to lean principles and techniques. This is an invaluable opportunity to be in a dynamic area with regular report outs and visibility to senior leadership. The Manufacturing Engineer will be coached and given autonomy to have a fulfilling role with plenty of opportunity to learn and grow. This is a high opportunity area for RCCA and process improvement. KPIs include (safety) improvement of I&I's, (quality) first time yield improvements and Cost of Quality (rework and scrap), (delivery) midframes shipped, (inventory) reduction of aged WIP, (productivity) process improvements to increase efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or (a high school diploma with at least 4 years of experience) manufacturing setting.
  • A minimum of 3 additional years of experience in manufacturing/production
  • GE Leadership Program Graduate in lieu of experience is permitted.
