About The Position

PLK Communities is an owner and manager of residential apartment communities. Currently we are in search of a full-time Lead Maintenance Technician. This role involves hands-on leadership to maintain the physical integrity and safety of the community, anticipating and correcting problems, and performing all property maintenance needs. The Lead Maintenance Technician will also be responsible for the maintenance of property grounds and common areas, HVAC service and repair (training available), preparing apartments for new residents, completing work orders, and ensuring proper trash removal and disposal. Additionally, this position provides leadership, guidance, and development for the community's Maintenance team.

Requirements

• 3 - 5 years multi-family/apartment maintenance experience
• Supervisory/Lead experience
• Basic carpentry
• Plumbing
• Electrical and mechanical systems
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• Tools (hammer, screwdrivers, channel locks, multi meter, Allen wrenches, pliers, knife, flashlight)
• Able to respond to afterhours emergency calls as part of an on-call rotation
