As a Lead Maintenance Technician, you will take ownership of the day‑to‑day maintenance operations while working hands‑on alongside a small team of technicians. You will ensure equipment, tools, and systems operate safely, reliably, and in compliance with cGMPs and Global Quality Standards. You will lead daily work planning, scheduling, and task prioritization, audit completed work for quality, and coach team members to support performance and development. As the first point of escalation for urgent or complex maintenance issues, you will act decisively to minimize downtime and protect both people and production. You’ll collaborate closely with Plant, Production, Supply Chain, and Supervisory partners, continuously improving processes and reinforcing Nutreco’s Own It culture of accountability, safety, and ownership.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with industrial maintenance, including pumps, valves, piping, hydraulics, and mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience, with experience leading or mentoring a small team.
  • Proven ability to plan work, coordinate schedules, and support daily maintenance operations.
  • Safety-first, quality-driven mindset with working knowledge of cGMPs, Global Quality Standards, and safe work practices.
  • Must be authorized to work independently in the country where the position is based.
