About The Position

As a Lead Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing and performing a wide range of maintenance and property upkeep tasks to ensure the property remains clean, safe, and in excellent condition. This role requires regular interaction with residents, staff, and vendors while handling repairs, building systems, and overall property appearance and functionality. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone dependable, self-motivated, and experienced in general property maintenance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of facilities maintenance experience, preferably in condominium, hotel, or multifamily properties
  • Make-ready experience required, including flooring reset, drywall work (tape, float, texture), painting, and weather sealing doors and windows
  • Strong general maintenance knowledge, including carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing
  • Familiarity with building systems and safety procedures
  • Strong internal and external customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (English-speaking required)
  • Ability to work independently and maintain productivity throughout the day
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and professional
  • Ability to lift/move objects up to 50 lbs and work outdoors as needed

Responsibilities

  • Perform interior and exterior maintenance, including painting, drywall repair, and texture work
  • Conduct power washing of exterior surfaces
  • Complete general upkeep tasks such as debris removal and porter services
  • Perform daily property walks to identify maintenance needs
  • Manage and complete work orders, including follow-ups to ensure timely resolution
  • Assist with make-ready tasks including flooring reset and weather sealing doors and windows
  • Support preventive maintenance efforts throughout the property
  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of all common areas and exterior spaces
  • Inspect building systems, equipment, and facilities to identify issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance concerns in a timely manner
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards
  • Coordinate with management regarding maintenance priorities and property needs
