This position contributes to the hotel’s commitment to high quality guest satisfaction and teamwork by safely and efficiently maintaining the property i.e. performs preventative maintenance; repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment. The employee may direct the work of other maintenance staff, delegating tasks and instructing them in the methods, practices, tools, equipment, and materials used in a variety of building and mechanical trades. This is a perfect position for someone looking to grow into a future Chief Engineer! Pay $24.00 per hour!

  • General carpentry skills.
  • Knowledge and use of basic hand and power tools required.
  • Ability to safely and correctly use power tools and equipment.
  • Know the occupational hazards, and be knowledgeable of required safety precautions.
  • Minimum 2 years of general building maintenance or equivalent in a trade profession.

Nice To Haves

  • Vocational School Certification preferred.
  • Certified Pool Operator (if property has pool or water park).

Responsibilities

  • Performs preventative maintenance.
