Lead Maintenance Supervisor - The Winsted at Valley Ranch
About The Position
Gaines Investment Trust is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Maintenance Supervisor for The Winsted at Valley Ranch. This role is responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations for a multifamily asset, ensuring the property is well-maintained, residents receive top-notch customer service, and the maintenance team is effectively led and motivated. The ideal candidate is passionate about property appearance and performance, capable of multitasking to meet or exceed expectations, and possesses excellent leadership, maintenance, customer service, and communication skills.
Requirements
- Currently lives close to Irving, TX, with a valid driver's license (required) and reliable transportation
- 3+ years of prior experience in a related supervisory maintenance role
- HVAC and CPO certified
- Expert with plumbing, electrical, troubleshooting appliances, pool, heating/air, basic carpentry, and painting
- Works effectively in a very fast-paced environment and meets company goals and deadlines
- Time management and multitasking skills
- Practical communication skills with residents, onsite staff, and management
- English and Spanish fluency
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all phases of the maintenance operations of the property
- Responsible for all work performed by all maintenance team members
- Interview, train, supervise, and motivate all maintenance personnel
- Performs and ensures all maintenance requests are made timely
- Scheduling vacant units for refurbishing and occupancy
- Provide a clean, safe, and well-maintained community for our Residents
- Respond to on-call emergencies
- Supervise outside contractors
- Provides top-notch customer service to residents
