About The Position
The Winsted at Valley Ranch is seeking a Lead Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations for one of their multifamily assets. This role is responsible for maintaining the community, providing excellent customer service to residents, leading and motivating the maintenance team, and scheduling unit refurbishments for occupancy. The ideal candidate is dedicated, quality-focused, and passionate about property appearance and performance, with the ability to multitask and ensure all maintenance operations exceed expectations.
Requirements
- Currently lives close to Irving, TX, with a valid driver's license (required) and reliable transportation
- 3+ years of prior experience in a related supervisory maintenance role
- HVAC and CPO certified
- Expert with plumbing, electrical, troubleshooting appliances, pool, heating/air, basic carpentry, and painting
- Works effectively in a very fast-paced environment and meets company goals and deadlines
- Time management and multitasking skills
- Practical communication skills with residents, onsite staff, and management
- English and Spanish fluency
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all phases of the maintenance operations of the property
- Responsible for all work performed by all maintenance team members
- Interview, train, supervise, and motivate all maintenance personnel
- Performs and ensures all maintenance requests are made timely
- Scheduling vacant units for refurbishing and occupancy
- Provide a clean, safe, and well-maintained community for our Residents
- Respond to on-call emergencies
- Supervise outside contractors
- Provides top-notch customer service to residents
