About The Position

We are seeking a Lead Maintenance Mechanic for assignment in The Villages, Florida. The selected candidate will p erform preventative and corrective maintenance on water / wastewater treatment plants and related facilities equipment. Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm This position requires l ead or management experience

Requirements

• A valid Drivers License
• 2+ years experience in the maintenance and repair of wastewater and potable water treatment equipment
• Lead or management experience

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on wastewater and potable water treatment equipment
• Lubricate equipment and check for malfunctions
• Replace packing in pumps or valves
• Replace bearings in motors, pumps and other equipment
• Tune engines; set valve clearance; clean and adjust regulators
• Examine equipment failures to identify cause and to prevent recurrences
• Installs and sets up new equipment
