Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of manufacturing, machine operation, mechanical, or production support experience.
Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and production equipment.
Mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize work and respond effectively to changing production demands.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to train and coach team members.
Commitment to workplace safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

Experience leading production activities or providing work direction in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with machine conversion processes.
Training or experience in problem solving, conflict resolution, and effective workplace communication.

Responsibilities

Leads daily production activities within the assigned finishing cell to achieve safety, quality, and productivity objectives.
Trains and mentors operators on equipment operation, changeovers, standard work, and safe operating practices to build workforce capability.
Promotes a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement through effective communication and collaboration.
Coordinates and performs equipment changeovers and machine setup to support efficient production and minimize downtime.
Troubleshoots equipment issues, performs minor mechanical repairs and adjustments, and restores production safely and efficiently.
Monitors production performance and proactively resolves operational issues that impact throughput, quality, or safety.
Uses hand tools to complete routine mechanical adjustments and replace or repair machine components such as belts.
Partners with Quality personnel to ensure products consistently meet established quality standards and customer requirements.
Identifies quality concerns and implements corrective actions to maintain compliance with production specifications.
Champions compliance with all safety policies and procedures while identifying opportunities to reduce operational risk.
Supports continuous improvement initiatives that enhance equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and overall manufacturing performance.
