The Lead LPN coordinates the day-to-day patient flow as part of a healthcare team by assisting in planning and implementing care interventions while promoting high quality patient care in a professional, efficient and safe manner. Assists in the planning and implementation of interventions to ensure evidence-based practices are being adhered to. Directs the team member as needed in order to support and maintain high-quality patient care. Lead LPN works closely with providers, supervisors, support staff and other members of the organization to ensure a seamless workflow. Effectively communicates with all team members to support a cohesive work environment. The Lead LPN in the Urgent Care department will work collaboratively with the department managers to ensure compliance with the Urgent Care Association of America (UCA) standards and guidelines. They will assist with the training and orientation of new staff. They will assist with problem solving daily issues and bring to the management team, if needed. Is expected to keep relevant knowledge up to date and apply it to everyday practice.
