About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Lead Line Cook for the iconic Arizona Biltmore, a luxury resort in Phoenix. This full-time position involves maintaining food production and quality control across various kitchen stations. The Arizona Biltmore, a LXR Hotel & Resort by Hilton, offers a unique opportunity to work in a beautifully restored historic property with extensive amenities. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • At least three (3) years of cooking experience in a professional, fast-paced kitchen
  • Full-time position
  • Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Hours are 2pm-10pm

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and set up food production and quality control of all meat, fish, poultry, sauces, stocks, seasoning and all other food items prepared in the different kitchen stations.
  • Prepare all food items according to standard recipes and/or as specified on guest check to ensure consistency of product to the guest.
  • Visually inspect, select and use only food items ideal for cooking in the preparation of all menu items.
  • Maintain consistency and work as a team.
  • Check and control the proper storage of product, monitoring age and condition of all food items to rotate and maintain the highest quality.
  • Keep all refrigeration equipment, storage and working areas clean and clutter-free, complying with Health department regulations.
  • Prepare daily requisitions for supplies and food items for production.
  • Read and employ math skills to follow recipes.
  • Perform any general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor.
  • Keep floors dry and clean to avoid slip/fall accidents.
  • Perform other duties as requested, such as moving supplies and equipment, cleaning up unexpected spills.
  • Ability to work grill and sautee with an average of 150 covers per shift.
