Lead Lift Operator (52465)
About The Position
Tahoe Donner Association is looking for fun and high-energy lift operators to join our winter operations! This position is responsible for operating chair lifts and maintaining the terminal area. This position performs crowd control, checks lift tickets and lift passes. This is an outside job working in a variety of winter weather elements. The Lift Operator oversees the daily operation of a chair lift in a safe and efficient manner while promoting positive guest relations with riders and co-workers. This position maintains the loading and unloading ramps, sets up signage, barrier fencing, ropes and maze lines. We have both full time and part time seasonal opportunities available!
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Demonstrates excellent communication and “People” skills
- Must love dealing with people
- Must pass lift operations exam prior to operation of lift
- Must be willing to work holidays and busy periods
- Completion of high school diploma or equivalent plus one to three months relevant experience and/or training in a customer related position; or an equivalent combination of formal training, education and experience
