Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent plus 10+ years of applicable financial services or insurance related experience required.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required and Black Belt preferred
  • Strong documentation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of the Lean Six Sigma methodologies and related tools. (Excel, , PowerPoint, and other related tools)
  • Must have or attain knowledge of Farm Bureau products, services, and strategies affecting project(s).
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication, planning, decision making, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Must be results oriented and able to adapt and deal with ambiguous situations and manage expectations.
  • Reasonably regular and predictable attendance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all Lean Six Sigma portfolio of projects including the selection of projects, training and development of Green/Black belts, application of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, and program development initiatives and events.
  • Provide coaching support, and training in order to incorporate Six Sigma methodology and analytics into organizational operations, accomplish business objectives, and promote adoption and improvement of Lean Six Sigma methods and practice.
  • Work with departmental leadership to plan and develop guidelines, targets, and standards used for maintaining business metrics, including the monitoring, and measuring of and reporting of all aspects of the Lean Six Sigma program deliverables and outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary contact for Green/Black belts seeking clarification of methodologies and tools related to the identified projects.
  • Assists individual contributors in obtaining Project Champion, Management, and Certifying organization’s acceptance of completed Lean Six Sigma projects.
  • Proactively manage any vendor relationship and Lean Six Sigma certifying organizations to maintain current and relevant training material and tools for the program.
