As our Lead Laundry Attendant, you are the guardian of the "refined retreat" experience. At The Wave, our guests expect an elevated stay, and that starts with the crisp, pristine linens that define a luxury getaway. You will oversee our laundry operations, ensuring a seamless workflow while mentoring a team dedicated to excellence.
Requirements
- Attention to Detail: You have an eye for the small things—spotting a stray stain or a loose thread before it ever reaches a guest room.
- Physical Vitality: You are comfortable being on your move, with the strength to handle heavy carts and the stamina to keep pace with our adventurous guest list.
- Reliability: Like the Lake Erie tides, you are dependable. You’re available for weekends, holidays, and the varied shifts that keep a premier hotel running smoothly.
- Safety First: You possess a solid understanding of (or a willingness to learn) the safe handling of cleaning chemicals and industrial equipment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily laundry flow, ensuring every towel and sheet meets our high standards of quality control.
- Master our industrial washers and dryers, selecting the perfect cycles for everything from poolside towels to premium bedding.
- Lead the team in folding, hanging, and wrapping linens with a professional touch, ensuring our linen closets are always "guest-ready."
- Manage supplies of eco-friendly detergents and luxury linens, while keeping our machinery in peak condition to ensure the "backyard retreat" never misses a beat.
- Train and support laundry staff, fostering a collaborative environment that celebrates the spirit of Marblehead.
