About The Position

Under the direction of an exempt supervisor, the Lead Land Technician is responsible for performing the full range of Lead Land Technician duties while providing leadership and coordination for land engineering activities. This role oversees and coordinates routine land engineering workflow with internal departments across the Division and General Office, ensuring timely progress and high-quality work. The Lead Land Technician directs and reviews the work of assigned staff, maintaining accountability for accuracy, productivity, and adherence to standards. The position requires demonstrated expertise in land engineering matters and the ability to lead by example through strong performance and technical proficiency.

Requirements

  • Four years of college in a technical or liberal arts curriculum or the equivalent in education and/or experience.
  • A minimum of one year as a Senior Land Technician and must have demonstrated the ability to perform such work as evidenced by the quality and quantity of the work product.
  • Knowledge of land engineering matters.
  • Position requires travel throughout the PG&E territory.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for carrying out the full range of duties of the Senior Land Technician.
  • Responsible for coordinating the routine workflow in land engineering matters with other departments within the Divisions and General Office.
  • Directs the progress and is responsible for the quality of the work of subordinates.
  • This role will or may require driving.
