About The Position

Responsible for supporting the Keno Manager in the daily operations of the Keno department. This role involves verifying, counting, and issuing cash supplies, maintaining accuracy of bank funds, verifying winning tickets, and paying out winnings according to established procedures. The Lead Keno Agent will also maintain written records of shift transactions, gaming regulations, and personnel actions. A key aspect of the role is guest interaction, including establishing rapport and resolving customer complaints or disputes. The position requires maintaining and operating games according to rules and procedures to ensure game integrity and asset protection, as well as maintaining equipment and inventory. Ensuring compliance with gaming regulations and company policies is crucial. The role also demands knowledge of and ability to perform all keno writer duties. Other duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of keno operations and wagering.
  • Ability to operate various Keno computer software systems.
  • Ability to utilize basic office equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to read, write and speak in English.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Keno Manager in daily operations.
  • Assisting with scheduling as needed.
  • Verifying, counting, and issuing cash supply to writers with change and cash fills.
  • Maintaining accuracy of bank.
  • Verifying winning keno tickets and balls and paying according to established procedures.
  • Maintaining written records and documents of shift transactions, gaming regulations, personnel actions, etc.
  • Communicating with and establishing rapport with guests; resolving customer complaints or disputes.
  • Maintaining and operating games according to established rules and procedures to ensure integrity of games and protection of company assets.
  • Maintaining all equipment and proper inventory of supplies.
  • Maintaining lounge area cleanliness.
  • Ensuring compliance of all appropriate gaming regulations and established company policies and procedures.
  • Possessing knowledge of and being able to execute all keno writer’s duties and functions.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management.
