About The Position

This is a contract-to-hire position for a Lead Java Developer in Tampa, FL, with a duration of 6 months. The role involves a hybrid work model and will be conducted via video panel interviews. The developer will be responsible for designing and developing cloud-native applications, leveraging extensive experience in Java and JEE technologies, Spring Boot, and cloud platforms like GCP and AWS.

Requirements

  • 10+ Years of Extensive Design and Programming skills in Java and JEE technologies.
  • Extensive knowledge of Spring boot framework.
  • Experience working with cloud native design patterns.
  • Extensive knowledge of event driven design.
  • Experience working on Agile projects and strong knowledge of Agile.
  • Experience designing and deploying cloud-native applications onto GCP, AWS, with PostgreSQL.
  • Deep Knowledge of PaaS offerings such as GCP, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Experience with modern software development tools for Continuous Integration including Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git/BitBucket, Jira, Gradle, Jenkins, and SonarQube.
  • Experience with Web Services Technologies (XML, JAXP, JAXB, JAX-WS, AXIS, JERSEY, JSON, CXF, REST and SOAP) and Security (LTPA, JWT, OAUTH2).
  • Knowledge of markup languages such as JSON and YML.
  • Hands-on Design and development experience on Microservices and Restful API.
  • Experience with Automated unit test (i.e. JUnit, Mocking frameworks), Test Driven Development (TDD), and Behavior-driven development (BDD) (Cucumber).
  • Experience with JEE technologies including Spring Framework (IoC, MVC, Transactions, Security, and Batch), Spring Boot, Spring JDBC, JPA, Hibernate, SOAP/RESTful, XML, DB2, Apache, & Tomcat.
  • Knowledge of security vulnerabilities in web applications and addressing them.
