About The Position

Fortis Native Group is seeking a Lead Custodian to support the Del Rio Customs Border Patrol. This position is fully onsite and requires the individual to perform custodial duties for Government contracts. The Lead Custodian will also provide instruction and direction to other Custodians on site.

Requirements

• Good communication skills
• Must pass agency and federal background checks, drug screen, and confirmation that you are authorized to work in the US.
• Must have the physical capacity to perform tasks such as moving, carrying, and storing items, and cleaning rooms full of furniture, floors, and carpets.
• 3 - 5 years of experience.
• Applicant must receive favorable background and drug screen results and meet eligibility requirements for access to government computer systems and or facilities.

Responsibilities

• Custodial duties for Government contracts.
• Sweeping, mopping or scrubbing, and polishing floors.
• Removing chips, trash, and other refuse.
• Dusting equipment, furniture, or fixtures.
• Polishing metal fixtures or trimmings.
• Cleaning lavatories, showers, and restrooms.
• Disinfecting of high touch areas (doorknobs, light switch covers, desktops, etc.).
• Provide instruction and direction to Custodians on site.

Benefits

• $5.42 per hour Health and Welfare up to 40 hours per week (These monies are used for your benefits), which can be taken as additional hourly pay resulting in an effective wage of $21.82hr.
