About The Position

The Lead Janitor performs administrative tasks, trains custodial team members, and oversees training activities. The role serves as a resource on cleaning methods, materials, and heavy commercial cleaning equipment. The schedule is full time, with days that may vary, from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. The position is located at Kairus, 25000 E. 56th Avenue, Aurora, Colorado. Supervisory experience is required. The fixed pay rate is $27.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

Conduct classroom and hands-on training on customer service, safety, compliance, and company policies.
Conduct one-on-one training as needed.
Update and provide training on the use of janitorial equipment, personal protective equipment (PPE), and chemical usage and safety.
Copy and revise training materials as needed and perform administrative tasks as requested.
Provide feedback on new associates during their orientation period and review trainee records to ensure successful compliance.
Provide recommendations to the training coordinator for disciplinary action as appropriate.
Conduct monthly safety performance reviews and other reviews to ensure compliance with OSHA, Risk Management, and applicable company, federal, state, and local requirements and policies.
Perform building walk-through inspections as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
