About The Position

We are seeking a Lead IT Project Manager to lead large, high-priority IT projects for a state government program. The PM will manage projects from planning through implementation, including the iSMART/Training Management System replacement and support of the WITS application.

Requirements

• Active PMI PMP certification for a minimum of 5 years – Mandatory
• Copy of active PMP certification must be submitted with the resume.
• Strong experience managing large/complex IT projects.
• Experience with project schedules, budgets, risk/issue management, stakeholder and vendor coordination.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Candidates without an uploaded active PMP certification demonstrating 5+ years of certification will not be considered.

Nice To Haves

• Government/public-sector or healthcare experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end IT projects including planning, design, development, testing, and implementation.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, milestones, and deliverables.
• Develop Project Management Plans, estimates, schedules, RAID logs, and status reports.
• Coordinate business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and senior leadership.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality requirements.
• Provide regular project updates and proactively resolve risks and issues.
