About The Position

This position leads operations for an application, database or infrastructure area. This includes the ability to define, measure and improve day to day production operations. Applies problem solving and Critical Thinker approaches to understand and improve production operations for an application or service area. Understands Agile and Lean methods and be able to apply them to day to day operations. Creates metrics for improvement and guide the operations team through the process to operationalize these metrics. Requirements

• 4+ years related experience including a minimum of 2+ years supporting and delivering Service Levels for a production operations.
• Critical thinker.
• Demonstrated problem solving techniques.
• IT experience.
• Must understand, comply with and attest to the security responsibilities and security controls unique to their position; and comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements and internal policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct reviews of data flows to ensure CUI remains within authorized boundaries.
• Assist with incident response activities involving CUI.
• Track and remediate compliance gaps related to CUI protection requirements.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security policies, CMMC requirements, and applicable regulatory standards governing CUI.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and operational activities using approved ticketing and reporting systems.
• Conduct incident triage and provide timely communication to stakeholders regarding service impacts and resolution status.
• Support continuity of operations by monitoring system health, identifying potential issues, and initiating corrective actions during after-hours periods.
• Define, measure and improve day to day production operations.
• Apply problem solving and Critical Thinker approaches to understand and improve production operations for an application or service area.
• Apply Agile and Lean methods to day to day operations.
• Create metrics for improvement and guide the operations team through the process to operationalize these metrics.
