  • Plan new space vehicle assembly and test programs or projects and provide bottom-up estimates for potential projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams on spacecraft design for manufacture and test (DFMA/DFMT) and process improvements; promote common designs, processes, and equipment to minimize development costs.
  • Develop and maintain detailed satellite system integration and test plans and coordinate required manpower, equipment, facilities, and process resources over the life of a project.
  • Analyze engineering design drawings and parts lists and generate clear, concise assembly documentation for shop-floor personnel.
  • Direct support personnel in day-to-day assembly, integration, and test tasks.
  • Support test processes for specific test phases; assist with telemetry and test-data review and analysis, verify data accurately reflects spacecraft functionality and performance, and document and support resolution of test anomalies.
  • Design and develop manufacturing and engineering tools, strategies, and systems.
  • Assist with high-visibility manufacturing efforts involving formal cost and schedule responsibilities and direct customer interface.
  • Develop Integrated Master Schedule milestones for assembly, integration, and test tasks and provide status updates to program teams and Operations leadership.
  • Compare actual results with baseline plans to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity, and lessons learned.
