About The Position

The Lead Intake Admission Clinician manages referrals and service requests, assesses individuals of all ages, and collaborates with physicians for appropriate care decisions. They assist with discharge planning under the Director of Admissions and Referrals and are the primary community contact, providing essential resources and support. Requirements

Registered Nurse or Masters Degree in a human relations field required.
A minimum of two (2) years experience in a psychiatric hospital setting, including customer contact.
A working knowledge of the latest DSM and Mental Status Exam and of the Addiction and Recovery field.
Licensed to practice in Illinois as a mental health professional is preferred.

Nice To Haves

Preferably two or more years experience in intake assessment activities within an acute psychiatric setting.
