About The Position

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Lead Instrumentation & Controls Engineer for its Nuclear Power Group. The role supports nuclear power clients digitizing existing plants and building new nuclear power plants and small modular reactors. The engineer will work on major process controls projects, including digital upgrades, and contribute to design, modification, and analysis of new and existing power plant control systems. The position involves technical decision-making, project-team collaboration, consulting on digital innovation initiatives, and support for nuclear plant projects from design through operations and project execution. Site visits and outage support may be required. Sargent & Lundy does not sponsor U.S. work authorization for this position. The company describes its Nuclear Power Group as working in nuclear engineering, design, and licensing, including SMRs, advanced reactor technology, reactor restart projects, plant life extensions, digital modernization, coal-to-nuclear conversion initiatives, and international nuclear new-build projects.
