About The Position

Mathnasium is a leading education brand with over 1,300 learning centers globally, dedicated to providing math instruction for students from kindergarten to high school. Our mission is to teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it, utilizing the Mathnasium Method™, developed over decades of hands-on instruction since 2002. This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of students across different grade levels in a structured learning center environment, eliminating the need for outside work like homework correction or lesson plan development. We provide training in the proprietary Mathnasium method and offer flexible, consistent part-time hours.

Requirements

Strong math proficiency through calculus.
Passion for math and working with students.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Eagerness to learn and be trained.
High motivation, commitment, patience, and enthusiasm.
Previous math teaching or tutoring experience is required.
Desire to work through the entire school year is required.
All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

Classroom and/or one-on-one mathematics teaching experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Teach math to students in kindergarten through high school using the Mathnasium Method™.
Work with a variety of students at different grade levels.
Conduct all Mathnasium work at the Mathnasium Center, with no homework to correct or lesson plans to develop outside of the center.
Learn and be trained in the proprietary Mathnasium method.
