Lead Instructor - Santa Clara
About The Position
MNTSTUDIO is seeking a Certified Lead Instructor for its first South Bay location in Santa Clara. This leadership role offers the opportunity to mentor instructors, shape client experiences, and contribute to the development of new instructors. The Lead Instructor will teach Reformer classes and private sessions, oversee instructor scheduling and coordination, conduct performance reviews, and play a key role in recruiting and training new talent for MNTSTUDIO's certification programs. Additionally, the role involves supporting studio operations, including equipment maintenance and stepping in as acting Studio Manager when needed, as well as assisting with sales and marketing efforts.
Requirements
- Certified Pilates Instructor with strong Reformer expertise
- Minimum 3 years of group teaching experience
- Proven leadership ability and a passion for mentorship
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- A growth mindset and commitment to education, wellness, and community

- Experience managing teams or teacher training programs
Responsibilities
- Oversee instructor scheduling and day-to-day team coordination across studios
- Ensure the substitution process is running smoothly with accountability
- Conduct class audits and performance reviews to support instructor growth and elevate quality
- Mentor and coach instructors, cultivating a supportive and collaborative studio culture
- Teach approximately 15 Reformer classes and private sessions each week
- Set the tone for excellence through energy, presence, and professionalism
- Step in as the primary substitute instructor when needed
- Be the embodiment and ambassador for MNT
- Complete the MNTSTUDIO Reformer Certification Program and help train others in the MNTSTUDIO Signature Method
- Partner with the VP of Training & Head of Education to identify and onboard new instructors
- Lead the South Bay Instructor Mentorship Program
- Support the growth and execution of MNT’s Reformer Certification Program and Heated Mat Certification Program and other education initiatives
- Take initiative in outreach and recruitment for upcoming Teacher Trainings
- Ensure all Pilates equipment is maintained and in excellent condition
- Step in as acting Studio Manager when needed to keep operations running seamlessly
- Support studio sales and marketing efforts including at times attending events on behalf of MNT
