About The Position

codeCampus is seeking to hire and train a Lead Site Instructor in the Lynwood area for the upcoming school year starting August 2026. As a Lead Instructor, you will work on site with company, district, and site staff at our partner schools in the area. You will oversee the execution of STEAM projects/activities for students using our proprietary curriculum. You will manage all responsibilities on site associated with student safety and learning for grades K-8th, in alignment with company and district protocols. You will create relationships with parents, students, and staff that build on a foundation of kindness, trust, and respect. You will oversee ongoing communication with district, site, and company staff, students, and families, to ensure a safe environment for the students. You will sign students in/out daily, and ensure regular tracking of daily attendance. You will complete weekly check-in surveys and curriculum trackers as assigned. You will collaborate with codeCampus and district admin to ensure programming runs smoothly on site.

Requirements

  • Available to start training immediately (paid) and to start instructing immediately
  • Available to work from August 2026 and beyond
  • Available Monday to Friday from 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM
  • Experience teaching and managing large groups of youth in an academic setting
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Willing to go through our professional development training program
