About The Position
codeCampus is seeking to hire and train Assistant Instructors in the Lynwood area for the 2024-2025 school year and beyond. As an Assistant Instructor, you will work with site staff at our partner schools in the area and with Lead Instructors to teach STEAM lessons for students in their classrooms using our proprietary curriculum. You will teach students in grades K - 8th. This role is great for early-career educators who are looking to gain in-classroom experience.
Requirements
- Available to start training immediately (paid)
- Available to work from the 2024-2025 school and beyond
- Available Monday to Friday from 2:30 PM to 5:45 PM, with the exception of Wednesdays from 1:30 PM to 5:45PM
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Willing to go through our professional development training program
Nice To Haves
- Interested in learning to teach exciting topics in STEAM like digital art, computer science, engineering, and robotics
- A cover letter is not required but preferred.
